I was born and raised in Long Beach, California
I went to UCLA, where I made a monthly TV show with friends called Fireside Chats
After college, I worked my way up from vault boy to editor at music video & commercial boutique editing houses Final Cut LA and Sunset Edit in Los Angeles

Then I started working in television and film, while still editing the occasional commercial and music video
I am a member of the Motion Picture Editors Guild (IATSE Local 700, USA), Bundesverband Filmschnitt Editor e.V. (Germany)
I'm a founding member of Highland Park TV, an underground public access station
Sometimes I direct
Sometimes I do VFX
I pulled the team together and directed the Annapurna Pictures logo
